I was wondering what are the main differences between the different letter series that Asus puts out. For example what makes a Z series a Z series, compared to a A series and so forth. I tried to search for any answers but came up with nothing. Here are all the series that I could find.
W, Z, F, A, S, V
*Also what do the ending letters represent as well? such as the W3J,

It's in the NewbieFaq Sticky at the top of the page:

Look at section 2f and below..
Summary..
The A, F, V and W series are Ensemble units
The Z are Built On Asus models, S are Verified By Intel models...
Ending letters I believe represents CPU generation + integrated or dedicated graphics....eg the J in A8J and W3J represent Yonah + dedicated graphics , then if anything else, like A8Jm, A8Ja = type of dedicated graphics, ie nvidia, ATI -
Those are the 'current' ones, when Merom comes around , they'll chanhge a bit, usually just the suffix.
What's with all the Letters?
