Title says it all. If you guys have suggestions of a better 15" laptop than ASUS let me know.

The uh...
the G51. All of them are pretty awesome. The cheapest (I think) is the RX05 from Best Buy (which I have). It seems like they got a good batch of P7350s in them, because a few of the posters here with a BB model have overclocked the processor to 2.5 (myself included) with an undervolt. -
Yeah.....why don't you take a second and actually peruse the forums for a little bit?
Its the G51, G50 can be a great deal money wise if you can find a refurbished version. -
I would not consider the g51 a 15 inch laptop. I would say it acts and feels more like a 17 inch. While it is listed as 15 inch, it does not feel like your typical 15 inch.

I have read that the screen is actually 16", I could be wrong on this though. Can anyone confirm?
-
15.6". The g60 would be the 16" model.

Well it's 14.8" Depth and 10.4" width. By doing Pythagore:
C² = A² + B² lets take C as the diagonal
C² = (14.8)² + (10.4)²
C² = 219.04 + 108.16
C² = 327.2
C = sqr(327.2)
C = 18.088670487352022 "
So the actual screen size is 18". -
You mean the bezel around the screen.
-
Well thats including everything. From the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Including screen and the plastics around it.
-
I would second the size of this laptop.The G51VX-A1 is big and looks like a 17 inch system. The viewable screen excluding the frame is exactly 15.6 inches.
I've been using mine the last two nights on my lap. I'm glad I didn't get the G71. -
Whats the best ASUS 15" laptop for gaming?
