When and How much? ASUS X200LA-DH31T 11.6" Touch Laptop with i3-4010u

So, I was told in another thread that the successor to the x200ca, the x200LA, was barely weeks away from hitting the market. But the information seemed a little vague. Does anyone know anything more specific about this model, when we should expect the U.S release date, and particularly how much will it be going for? I've seen a ballpark price of around $499-550 in the few venues that have a price listed, but I expect we can expect better prices once it reaches Newegg, bestbuy, and Amazon. But does anyone know anything?

This seems like the ideal corrective in their 200 series, whose major blunder has always been average to bad battery life. With the haswell chip, and a 3-4 cell battery, this should be a lot better in that dept; although battery life estimates appear as still 5 hours, my hunch is that they haven't updated the information yet accordingly.

 

It seems like it's been and gone. It was available from Adorama Camera for $500 free shipping, and 3 other places, but disappeared in early December. Maybe it will come back, or be replaced by something new.
