I remember seeing a sticky on when the asus notebook models are going to be refreshed with Santa Rosa technology.

What happened to this post? Or does anyone know off the top of their head?

I am interested in the 15.4' performance card models
    S96J and F3 series.

It's in the new sticky, due to the mass amounts we had, I made them into one easy to use sticky :)

The F3 refreshes are appearing, one of them having the Nvidia 8600. There is also the new C90 which will be a whitebook (built on), and it seems that the VX also got refreshed with an 8600, so we have 3 15.4" Santa Rosa notebooks with dedicated video so far.

    Don't forget the G1s Goren!
I haven't heard of any barebones besides the C90, and I still don't think we're sure whether the C90 has a 8600M-GS or 8600M-GT (but it's probably the GS, when it doubt suspect the worst :( )

    I hope there'll be a 8600GT in a 15.4 that's not the G1 or the C90... G1 looks a tad too silly, the C90 umm has rather objectionable fans.

They need to come out with a V1JP refresh with intel turbo memory, the 8600gt, a blu-ray burner, and all the battery problems fixed...hopefully sometime before the end of July :(

I'm actually pretty sure the V1J refresh will come with an 8600M GT, and the V2J refresh will come with an 8400M GT. We'll see, however.
