My advice is go for the Advent, it looks like an exceptional deal!

Many resellers in the US such as gentechpc ship internationally. You should give them a ring.

Gentechpc and Excaliberpc are a great place to start as they do ship internationally. Also considering anything computer based is VERY expensive here one would most likely save around 500 pounds at least buying from an american retailer.

Dont get caught up buying from america to save money, it ends up costing more:
A: the exchange rate for GBP to USD is quite frankly dismal
B: VAT and import taxes must be paid which account to the amount of money you'll have thought you were going to save!
Speaking from personal experience ( i imported my g50vt) I would go with the Advent, its a great deal and is exclusive to Britain.

its not so much for the rate as for the customization. by the way even if you have the bucks to buy it they need a US bank account. i contacted them. i do and dont understand this policy. except this as the friend above referred the transfer costs especially for a 5 kg notebook (without the box, bag, charger) will be by no mean worthing the purchase.

i see they accept paypal right? as long as we wait for new w90s to come around (no stock everywhere) i ll search for it. by the way the cost is 230 $ for UPS international express.

but when i select an other cpu on gentechpc they put it as extra. they dont put it inside the notebook before i take it?

if anyone finds a uk shop or anything for w90 with quad core please send me pm please or reply here. u americans are so lucky!

Just buy the W90 from the UK online stores! They have been released in the UK now. This thread is old and i think the OP has already bought another laptop.

it seems that the w90 series that will be available in Uk will have the t5500 and 5400rpm! and with 2400 pounds (3,602.74 USD) ! . even if the charges are high, if you could buy the w90 with high better specifications in Uk the final price would be the same or higher. this is insane!
