    I don't know of any online sales from Singapore. IMO not really necessary; if you want it you simply go buy it! If you want it shipped, several vendors will do international shipping but I've had massive trouble even getting a response via Email or phone. If you know someone there or stay at a hotel there you'd do better to have someone go buy it for you and ship it out.

    Even though I found a better configuration in Europe, the concierge at a hotel I've stayed at offered to make the purchase for me if the seller would accept a photocopy of my credit card. Alternatively I could've wired him the money. One lovely thing about SG; almost everyone is very honest and 99% of the people will go very far to help you.

    @SpaZamm :

    Try excaliberpc.com ---> i ordered internationally from them. They're reliable and they're pretty helpful with ur questions. They have several ASUS models at their site. The only problem would be warranties, if u have a problem with it, you have to send it back to them.

    Funan Digitalife Mall -> City Hall MRT Station
    Sim Lim Square -> I think it is more on hardware and accessories than a notebook mall :) But still worth to check it out.
    There are a couple of shops on the third and fourth floor at Funan that sells Asus notebooks.

    Cheers.

    pogitz -

    are you sure that excaliber's warranty isn't the same as the standart asus warranty?

    it said this on the home page:

    BTW, 93$ international shipping fee to israel!! Ouch, total cost ~1250 for the A8SC

    Most stores in Sim Lim Square publish pricelists. Go to HTTP://www.wareprice.com to see the latest. SG pricing isn't the best though. That A8SC? $1538 in USD. Even if you qualify for GST refund it's still $1430 or so.

    hey Spazamm ! IM not really sure about it. ( But I think that their ensemble ASUS notebooks, not the barebones are covered by ASUS global warranty. ) Just to be sure, u can email them and they've been pretty fast in answering inquiries. goodluck !
