The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Is it just me or do major tech sites not review asus laptops? Though the ones on this site and notebookforums are great; I've yet to find reviews at cnet, pcmag, etc. Why?

cnet does, pcmag i dunno, also ASUS and a few other brands are still not recognized yet, because of many factors.

I'm not exactly going to explain why, but there are threads about this already.

Rest assure, the forums plus word of mouth is good for now. :D

    Thanks and enjoy,

Asus's main business with systems is being a ODM. It doesn't sell direct or through retail channels. Therefore, there won't be many reviews in the mainstream sources.
