    I'm looking to buy an asus eee pc 900. I have browsed the internet and found a few good deals here is a link for one. $229 - ASUS Eee PC 900 16GB with 8.9" Display, Intel Mobile CPU, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB Solid State Drive, Windows XP Home Black at http://www.mertado.com/asus-eee-pc-900-black-windows-xp-netbook.html

    That's as low as the 900 is going to be for a while -- Asus is trying to clear out the older 9" models, and hoping that the near $200 price tag is going to entice people. Personally, 9" is just too small.... 10 is the smallest I can deal with.

    The 9" is better for the smaller kids (i.e. the Disney co-branded 900), and if my two didn't already have a couple of older 14" notebooks of ours I'd probably be getting those for them.
