I might add that all three companies post either on here or on notebookforums. Gentech is on there more often I think.

If price is such a concern, you should consider where each company is located relative to where you are--for shipping and sales tax purposes. But as for repuation, all three are good.

One thing that I noticed when i was shopping for a laptop 8 months ago, was that 20-40$ difference doesn't make a real life difference in cost, what you really want is the added insurance of good service and a nice warranty.

But luckly for the US you have everything you wanna know online, in Canada, many stores don't have websites or ones that are good and easy to use, so you would have to drive around for the best price/service.

I also suggest, emailing or contacting each of them and see how they respond to you and then pick one accordingly.

    Good Luck.

    Thanks,

    um

i value a 3rd year of warranty about $50. the other two have 2 right? and the warranty is different as well it will have quicker turn around.

powernotebooks obviously has the best value there. show the price to the other two and see if they will lower their price around $30 or throw something in. I mean youre not asking for any favor, say hey this is right here im doing you the favor. throw in 3 year warrantee or you get nothing.... lol.
