    Hello

This might be the wrong forums to post this but I tried to make 2 post on "What Notebook Should I Buy?" but no one answered, so I figure to try here. I been searching on google for websites that sells A8Js but they all out of stock or not arrived yet.

Can you guys tell me good sites that sells A8Js on the net? 2GB RAM and 7200 100GB HD if possible and can be delivered or mailed internationally (Kuwait - Middle east). I use VISA.

    Thank you

i used milestonepc.com to get my A8Js and that was a pretty good experience. And exxi, we use to send stuff to Kuwait/Iraq all the time from the USA, of course that was to my Bro and he was in the army so it was an APO address :)

So Salehwar, I highly recommend the A8JS as it's a great all around lappy :)

    Guys please help me out,
MilestonePC.com doesn't accept international credit card payment. but they accept wire transfare which is risky. NICX website doesn't work with my ISP especially sending message page which I need to ask if they accept Kuwait Visa and if they deliver it. Amazon doesn't sell A8Js.

Can anyone please give me websites to buy A8Js and can be delivered to Kuwait without any problem?

    Thank you alot

If you need help with an A8 - going international, we send all over the world as well (Kuwait is one of the only middle eastern countries we ship to), but likewise, we won't accept an international credit card either.... I doublt you'll find someone who will, given the amount of fraud these days. Anyone looking to buy a computer from another country should be understanding of these issues and should be willing to use a secure bank wire transfer as I know we prefer, and most customers do as well.

The problem is I can't know if that website like yours or milestonepc will send the laptop if I wire the money. I know many people has been cheated buying stuff over the internet. I need help with that.

And another question. Does PROlaptop A8Js has international warranty of Asus?

    Thanks

If you want to buy it this way, you have to trust the dealers, dealers will go nowhere because you paid 2k in advance, most of the reputable dealers reputation worth alot more than a notebook, you should know how much work / time a dealer needs to invest to build up his reputation. if oversea buyers pay by credit card, if anything happens, it will be very hard to get hold of the buyers, but if a dealer tricks you, the dealer can be easily get hold of.

How can a dealer trade his reputation with one notebook? Even 100 notebooks, I won't trade.

Thats why you should have a wire only policy for international orders no ifs end or buts clearly states on your website. I get haggled by these DEMANDS to use an internation cc on our website everyday. Somepeople go as far as to ask for the manager because i am being rude by telling them the policy.

Lol Eddie, you do have a way with words and people.

When I first bought my laptop online from a retailer, I insisted on using a CC simply because I didn't know the ASUS resellers that well. Wiring the money is literally handing someone a stack a $100 bills and hoping you get a product in the next week or so. A lot of trust is involved, and when it comes to the Internet trust is a commodity to be earned and not given freely.

But I know many resellers now, especially on these forums, and my next laptop purchase will definitely be a wire transfer: it saves everyone involved money by cutting the credit card company (and their fee) out of the equation.

personally it costs me more money to take a cash/wire order then it does a credit card. in terms of labor, accounting, and communications. Only reason vendors even offer a discount for wires is simply to be nice not because it saves us money. At least that is my side of it. Maybee we should pay for better check out system that custs the manual work out of taking wires.
