Where to buy Asus UL30 in UK?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying a Asus UL30 laptop. The only place I can find selling this in the UK are carphone warehouse ( http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/broadband/laptops-and-netbooks/buy/ASUS_UL30) but I've been told this comes with a slower processor than the expected SU7300 chip.

Where can I buy this laptop?

How much are taxes on electronic items in the UK? I'm wanting to buy one as well, and would like to factor in the price. If tax is too unreasonable, then I'll wait for a US friend to buy via Amazon, and send it to me..

I do see there is someone selling preorders for the ul30 on amazon uk. It says "released on november 20". Is this some kind of official release date? I'm surprised there is no information out there about this for such a great laptop.

I'm really confused now. The UL30 isn't on asus' website:

And there's lots of stories saying it will come out in the uk on oct 22:

Yet not a single person sells it...

 

The UL30 may not be on the UK Asus website, however it's already on the market in Asia and US/Canada. Keep in mind that there are some Asus resellers such as gentechpc that are able to ship to the UK. You would however, need to pay for shipping and duty fees.
