    No best buys within 1 hour from me have the g1s in stock, and it's tax-free weekend here in NC. What other stores carry it? Ordering online is a last resort.

    The best place for the G1S is best buy.

    Circuit City the best for Acer laptop at the store.

    Have you tried doing the Store Locator at the best buy website, to see which one has it in stock.

    The best thing about buying it from store is that you could pick it up from there the same day.
