Does anyone know if there are any Canadian retailers that will allow you to customize an ASUS laptop pre-purchase, similar to retailers such as XoticPC?

The reason I ask is, when I was talking to an XoticPC rep, it seems that they do ship to Canada and such, but if I run into warranty issues I have to cover shipping to them; they only cover it one way.

This may not seem like too much, except that ASUS provides free shipping both ways for their warranty service and I'd like to have the same. I've had instances before where I've had to send my laptop in time and time again, and I do not want to rack up several hundred dollars worth of shipping expenses just to get something fixed that I'm dropping $2400 on from the get go. Specifically, the laptop I'm looking to configure/purchase is the following: http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g53sxa1-p-3097.html?wconfigure=yes (ASUS G53SX-A1)

Alternatively, if anyone knows of another reputable retailer in the states that would allow me to customize the laptop and covers shipping both ways, I'd also be willing to look into that. Thanks :)

*edit* I also wouldn't mind if the place allowed me to extend the usual 2 year warranty to 3, as XoticPC does :p

I'm not sure about customization -- I'd like to know (i live in Canada as well), but I do know that most Asus retailers can sell an additional year of warranty straight from Asus. Usually they don't care to say anythng about it but just ask them, i think it costs around $100 for the additional year.

^Depending on the model (though I think it relates to nearly any Asus model) Asus offers a 2 year warranty (free).
