I tried opening Asus Live Update but it didn't open. Does anyone know where I can download all updates I might have for drivers in one go?
My Bang and Olufsen speakers in my N53JQ sometimes pop a bit in songs, but not movies or youtube videos. Could this be a driver issue because I only got this laptop in January!
Also, sometimes I here really quiet beeping sounds coming from my laptop, could that be a driver update too?

Yeah asus update is not really good, you should uninstall it. You can find the drivers here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download N53Jq

Get ones that are newer than the versions you have now if you want to update them. You can get the latest for whatever driver. It's your choice what to update.

So everything that's listed there, I have got, except an older version?
which server should I dl from? Global? -
Yes Global or Global DLM have both worked fine for me in the past. Also check out the apps folder:

Just to confirm, but are all the things listed in all the categories things I need updates for? What I mean is the Real tech hd audio driver has 2 things to download in the audio section. Do I already have one of those versions or are they both updates for my drivers which I need to download?
Thanks -
^^^ As a general rule you only need to download and install the latest version of each driver that is on the Asus support page that ALLUR linked above. (But as ALLUR stated, infrequently an earlier version of a driver is the best choice)You should already have the earlier version installed from the factory. Problem is they are not all up to date on the ASUS site, such as video drivers, and sound drivers (If you have Realtek installed the latest version is here:
Realtek
IF the sound on your computer is muted in Windows do you still here the Beeping? -
Yes I do hear it when my computer's sound is muted, but it's very quiet. I realized just then that this only occurs when my battery mode is one "Quiet Office". On "Entertainment Mode" which I'm on now, it just has a shuffling noise, no beeping.
Also, Apart from RealTek, what other drivers are essential (well, not essential but needed) to make sure my computer runs smoothly?
Thanks
