    You should be able to get spare batteries from vendors like Excaliber PC.

    There are many fake batteries selling on ebay and if there's one thing you want to be safe with when using your notebook, it would be the battery. Although some sellers may cite that their batteries "meet or exceed the specifications of the original brand manufacturer", most of them lack quality control. eg. a 3rd party battery manufacture may meet or exceed the OEM's capacity, but in terms of reliability, it could be a different story.
