I have the asus G1s with a 8600M GT and was wondering their website is the only place to get drivers, I mean the desktop cards are all the way up to 169.73 (i think) and the laptop ones seem to be fairly older.

I have tried the desktop drivers on the laptop but they wont install.

The best place in all honesty, is the Asus website. They have the latest drivers available for the 8600m GT in all Asus notebooks.

You can also try laptopvideo2go.com. A lot of users use drivers from there including myself. 163.44 or higher seem to give the best performance.

Make sure you download the modded .inf file along with the drivers and replace the .inf file that comes with the setup file.
