    Hello,

I sold my 13.3" Macbook Pro, and am looking for something with a little more graphics power. I love the portability of my Mac, and I would love to have something like that with a powerful graphics card for playing some games, but I know it is unlikely. I thought about the Alienware m11x, but its hard to justify the cost over the ASUS notebooks. I went to BB today and really liked the physical aspects of the G60vx series (which seems similar to the new G51j) For the same price the processor and graphics cards look to be crazy awesome. I have a netbook, so I am fine with the traveling aspect, but the only thing that concerns me is battery life of the ASUS gaming laptops. From what I see, they last only about an hour doing casual things (which I plan to be doing most of the time. I can get a discount through tigerdirect, so both of the computers below will both cost me about the same amount, but will the i5 get SIGNIFICANTLY better battery life? Which do you recommend? Please let me know, and if you have any other ideas that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't tell you about battery life, but I know performance will be about 1/3rd less in multithreaded applications.

The CPU has less to do with power since it adjusts it's speed based on battery life. The GPU is usually the biggest drain. I don't have any hard numbers for you, though. Sorry.
