    Which ASUS laptop to buy

    Hi, my GF is currently looking for a decent budget laptop. She needs the power that a gaming laptop gives for mapping and basic 3D modeling softwares.

    We are in the Philippines and choices for good laptops in our country is limited. So I searched for laptops in Lazada and found 3 choices from Asus which are:

    1. X555LB series
    2. K401LB series (with FHD screen)
    2. K501LB series

    I didn't include the exact model numbers because there are so many variations in one model number, but we will be getting the models with 8 GB RAM and Nvidia graphics card. My GF doesn't play a lot. For her free time, she uses her laptop for watching movies and YouTube videos. And she isn't picky on screen type, but I want to buy her something with an FHD screen for her enjoyment, as well.

    So, which one are we going to pick?

    They're all pretty similar in factory specs and capability. Given that you wanted a high res screen, it seems like the K501LB is best of the three in terms of what you're looking for.

    Thanks for the reply. Fortunately, my girlfriend has a subconscious intuition towards future-proofing and chose the K501LB.
