    Which OFFICIAL NVIDIA Drivers that downclock 2d/idle?

    Ok so I tried 186.82...I loved how cool my notebook ran with it...but it was really glitchy in games!! I was very dissapointed. So I tried the newer 197.45, same problem!!

    I went back to the 186.81 I downloaded from the official NVIDIA Website, and noticed it was an exe file rather than a .cab like the 186.82 and 197.45...SO...I put 2 and 2 together and the way I figure it is...my computer only likes drivers that i downloaded from the NVIDIA WEBSITE!

    Now 186.81 is fine for performance...but it doesn't seem to downclock by itself.

    So my question is, is there an official Nvidia approved(released) driver that DOES downclock in 2d/idle that i can download from their site? Here is a screenshot of my choices.

    If anyone recognizes any of these drivers as a driver that will downclock automatically and have good performance...please let me know!
