I've used my Eee PC for almost a year now. It is my one, and only, PC. That said, I am in need of an USB CD / DVD drive.

I am unable to locate any of the Asus recommended CD / DVD devices. Any recommendations? I want the one I purchase to plug in and run, without tinkering. Anybody using the same nextbook have a suggestion?

I really do not want to spend more than $50.

    Thanks!

I spend $30 on a XBox 360 HD-DVD drive and used it with my EeePC successfully (boot and install OS). Only problem is I can only get the drive to work with the provided USB cables not one of the dozens of similar cables I have.

PS You need special software to watch HD-DVD movies that's not provided, but it works fine as a regular USB DVD drive.
