Have a asus z70va with the ati x700 video card. Now im wondering in your guys experienced oppinions what driver performs best for this video card. Currently im running the catalyst 5.11 driver. But i havent tried any other driver so dunno if this is the optimal driver for this card.

My experience with modded drivers has been good, but I would stick with catalyst drivers as their IQ (image quality) and performance are overall well rounded.

Also they are newer and have the latest driver updates and omegas are one release behind.

I'd say stick with Catalyst or if you have an Nvidia card, stick with their drivers.

You could also download both and try them out back to back, but be sure to uninstall them properly before coming to any conclusions, as people have installed drivers incorrectly then complained about bad drivers.

    Cheers,
    Mike
