I am looking to get a g51 laptop but i see so many models, G51VX, G51JX
Is there somewhere i cans see the difference in these models? I am looking at the G51JX-X1 on newegg, but what of these other models that fall into the g51 category?

Don't know if there is a complete list, but hare are some of the main differences:
The -vx models all have Core 2 CPUs and the GTX 260m. They have two hard drive bays and two memory slots (4GB standard, up to 8GB).
The ones sold through Best Buy (they have RX in the second half of the model number) can use T or P series dual core CPUs. They also have a lower screen resolution than most G51's.
The models with -x# in the second half were sold through Newegg. They have better dual core CPUs than the Best Buy Models, full HD screens, and bluetooth.
The -A1 models can use dual or quad. They come standard with dual hard drives, and have a range of additional options through resellers like XoticPC or GentechPC.
The -J models have Core i7 CPUs.
The -3d version has the GTX 260m, 4GB memory, and dual hard drives. It has a lower resolution screen, but with a 120Hz refresh rate and nVidia 3D glasses and emitter.
Other J models have a GTS 360m GPU with DDR5 memory, 6GB RAM (up to 12GB), and a single hard drive bay (the extra RAM slot extends into the space where other models had the second drive bay).
The -a1 models are configurable through resellers. -
Wow thanks a bunch =), Ill probably be getting an G51JX-X1, Also i saw there is a bsod and throttle issue? Is it severe? And i saw there i a fix, is it 100% working? Because im coming from dell right now with a 1640 that has major throttling, and dell isnt even doing anything.

There is also an upcoming G51Jx-3D which according to official ASUS websites, is going to have a FULL HD 3D screen. Don't know if it's just that they forgot to change the data field?
Which g51? How many are there?
