The A8's are the same, the F3 is the 15.4" version of the A8.

well, the a8jm seems to have a major problem with the hinges, while the newer versions do not. i seem to hear less problems about the f3...but it could just be that there are less users of the f3.

The A8 isn't horrible... but it's not spectacular by any means. Comparable to a cheap Acer or Toshiba notebook I guess.

F3 is alright... it really is the 15.4" version of the A8, but it's slightly better from what I hear.

I don't think I am going to vote, they all seem to be the same to me. The F3 is just a larger version of the A8.

They would all seem to be around the same level of quality, however many do consider the F3 series to be the 15.4" version of the A8 series.

There are a considerable amount of A8 series owners than there are of any other series.

The other thing is that the A8 lid is more susceptable to scratches than the F3, but the shiny lid of the A8 seems to be more appealing to me.

And yes the quality is comparable to Acer and Toshiba laptops.

    Well...

I think you can compare it to a model you can see in a retail store the acer 5670

It is similar in size and color they are both plastic.

The acer it built worse, the plastic is thinner the chassis flexes. The acer is thinner and it gets very hot.
But it is similar its black and grey plastic and similar size.

It is actually very similar to toshiba a105 if for no other reason than they use the same faux aluminum paint. Looks very nice when new.
