    Hi!

I've had my N56VZ for almost two years ( bought it May 2012) and my battery is pretty much dead. I want to buy a new one.
I found it on the Asus Store

but it's $120 and I've seen a bunch of non-OEM batteries on eBay for around $40.

Did anyone replace the battery? If yes, which one did you end up buying and what's your experience with the new battery?

    Thanks!

I understand $120 is steep and the price gap is considerable, but bear in mind the risk. Often the batteries you see being offered for so much cheaper use lower quality parts. Consequently, you either get a battery that doesn't work as well, and sometimes not at all.
