Hey Everyone... I know I have told you about my white M5np before and I wanted to open an option up to this forum. Anyone who like this option, we have tons of these parts and will offer them as a complete solution for those looking for a new unit, or for those of you with charcoal M5's who want a new look. Now, it's not cheap, but I can tell you that you'll have one of the only white M5np's EVER in north america.... no other dealer can get these or special order them... I'm special.

    Kit includes:
    Pearl lcd cover
    Pearl lcd bezel
    Pearl M5NP top case
    Pearl M5NP bottom case
    Pearl M5NP keyboard
    Pearl combo drive door

This is the same color as the current S5n, however the keyboard is NOT the same. This is the keyboard off of the M5NP (which has larger keys). These are all genuine Asus parts and come with the factory pearl paint.

$300 for the parts, $400 option if you buy a new system from us and want it converted when you purchase it. Keep in mind this is very special and you will be one of 10 in western hemisphere with that notebook. The pieces are all carbon fiber which makes up a lot of the cost.

This is about as special as you're going to get. The White M5NP is ONLY available in China and Germany, however it is only offered in a couple configurations in both countries. With ours, you still have the total customization you expect. We have 9 complete sets left and atleast 5 of our have already expressed interest in them.

This is also nice for future use. As I've stated before, after a period of time your notebook will start looking used, but with a new chassis, it's as good as new again. Anyone who struggled with deciding between an M5 and S5 because of the color of the S5 and the customization and internal drive of the M5 can now sleep soundly.

Shoot me an email if you're interested. Each each is sold together and we will not sell individual pieces.

    J

    Thanks,

    OK, 4 left......

Also, I realized that instead of going all white, a black keyboard and battery give it a real two different two tone look.....

Anyone who wants the Np keyboard (full sized number keys and space bar) can also drop me a line. This is nice if you think your M5 or S5 keyboard is too cramped in those areas.

Now, this is the original white M5n from china..... the differences are:

    1. it says "www.asus.com" under the lcd
    2. the keyboard is the same as the white S5n/ne

What we have has the new "asus" logo under the lcd... like that on the newest S5n's...

The top cover and keyboards are the same as the black M5nps... a slightly larger keyboard area and slightly larger keys..

But, the look is the same. The picture I linked to should be ok for internet viewing... but I couldn't exactly put a 20mb file linked to our web server.

I'll take a picture using some of the black parts on monday..

    AuroraS,

Here's the linky for M5Np from Asus Germany website. Click on the Xmas gift box to continue. This computer is Too sexy to describe. Hehehe.

Also, W3 specs and pictures are available at Asus Germany. You probably need a German translator such as babelfish.

    Cheers.

If ALL M5Ns looked like that, I'd buy them RIGHT AWAY
    Thanks Justin

By the way, how much would you charge for an M5Np that looked like that? [:I]

Well, basically the only thing that isn't part of that kit I made, is the keyboard... so thats like $40 cheaper.

So, figure the M5 cost.... plus $260 for the remaining parts and $100 to do it to where you'd get it that way. To be honest with you, after doing my own, it takes about an hour and half to swap everything over (take about the black one, swap it to the white chassis and then put the white one back together.) It would take someone who never played with one of these before, probably 3 hours... So, my cost of $100 to do the work might seem like a lot till you actually do it yourself...

So, for everyone who says the M5 is a great value for what you get, these parts just make it very speacial (1 of 10 in NA) and bring it up around the cost the sony's and apple's in this 12" range..

I'd rather offer parts for someone else to swap their over themselves..... but we can build a few special ones... afterall, we only have a handful left... it's not like we're custom building 100's or 1,000's..

But for any of you with an M5 now, the parts will cost $300 (thats with either a black or white m5np keyboard - The M5n has a smaller keyboard and the M5 keyboard would work, but there is a gap on either side)

Those of you with an M5np now, and would like to keep the black keyboard the cost is $260

Those of you with an S5 and want to get the M5np top cover, that is $50, and another $40 for a black or white M5np keyboard. (again, the S5 keyboard would work, but there is a gap on either side)

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Justin
