People have talk about white Asus portable models for a while, I was trying to get some white W7J form Taiwan by myself, but didn't do it because of the higher price there and the keyboard issue.

Now the closest one is Z35F, it has both black and white color available, but I feel the selling point is the color of white. because if you want a black one, I think it is better to go to W7J, the price of Z35F is close to W7J if you configure it to the similiar specs of W7J, but you loose the Global warranty, camera and the video card on W7J. We have configurator on our website, you can try this out.

To configure Z35F to T2400 / 1024G memory / 100G 5400rpm SATA / Wireless 3945 / DVDRW, without Windows Xp pro will cost US$1200, with xp pro it will cost about US$1350, W7J with this specs will cost US$100-$150 more depends on where to buy.

Of course for people who don't care about global warranty, OS and Video card on W7J, this is an good option for both white and black portable Asus.

We are taking orders now in both US and Canada

Not to spoil your sales campaign or anything, but the white shows its ugliness and bulkiness compared to the black W7J.. I'd still rather go with the black W7J, even if the price is steeper.

Asus NA has no plans to import the white W7, that any of the resellers have mentioned here (which is why Danny @ Milestone had been looking into physically importing some himself from Taiwan, but then I'm guessing that there are all kinds of headaches with Customs, etc associated with this approach which would further drive up the price he'd have to charge). You'd be best off sending a PM to their Canada sales team with your question.
