    Im torn between two Santa Rosa gaming laptops:

    the Asus s96s offered by Powernotebooks.com

    and

    F3SV offered at newegg.com

    What is the difference between these two?

    Post your desired Asus s96s configuration for a more accurate hardware/performace comparison

    But the F3sv-B1 does have a higher resoluion( wsxga+ vs wxga) and might be lighter(6.5 vs 6.8) and it has DVI port.

    The S96s has a better camera( 2.0 mp vs 1.3 mp) and 3 year Domestic warranty( but i think the F3sv-b1 has a global 2 year warranty but i am not too sure)

    I think they both have the 8600m GS.
    Build quality should be about the same

    Also if you interested in a gaming SR lappy then look at the Compal IFL90(powerpro J 10:15) with the Wsxga+ and 8600m GT option
