For the U6Sg-A1, Xoticpc.com and btotech.com both have options to upgrade the CPU to T9300. It will cost almost 2K USD though.

Xoticpc.com can go up to T9500.

If you do end up getting a T9300 or T9500 with the U6Sg, please post some benchmarks or gaming experiences when ever you get a chance!

Sorry, it can't be accomplished that way. Upgrading the cpu *immediately* voids the Asus global warranty, as you have to break the warranty seal on the heatsink to do it; there is no way around that, it's Asus' policy and they won't touch it afterwards.

Xoticpc and BTOTech replace that with their own in-house warranty, details can be found on their websites. And yes, you do pay more for the privelege of the upgraded cpu.

Thanks for the info. That's was I was trying to avoid. Does someone have experience with overseas sellers that can sell the machine with the T9500 installed from the factory that would not void the warranty?

In Taiwan there is a plethora of Asus notebooks. Although there's no T9500, there is the T9300 CPU that comes factory installed in the U6.
If you can read chinese, see the link below (some of the specs are in english)

It has better specs than the U6Sg-A1 in the US, and also cheaper too... but it's only available in Taiwan. You'll either have to travel to Taiwan to get one or if you have a friend there, ask him to buy it and ship it to you.
