Who has A8Js in stock?

No shortage on the general market. Try : portable one, buy.com etc

next shipment middle of next week for most resellers.

 

I posted here because I'd rather give the locals the business if they have any available. I was under the impression places like Buy.com and Newegg don't actually "stock" these computers, they are special orders. Is there any truth to that?

I have heard things like that. There were lots of complaints about zipzoomfly with the a8jm I remember.

I dont know. Id say btotech but I dont think so. You want the dealers themselves to advertise their stock to you here? Or you want someone who just bought one to tell you?
I mean I think you just visit the sites or call and youll find some for sale.

 

I was hoping to get both. Anyone who has just ordered from a vendor they know has them, and/or any of the vendors that post here on a regulay basis that has them or has a definitive date as to when they are getting another shipment. I've been going to a lot of sites and haven't found a single one that lists the A8Js in stock. I guess I got tired of searching

I was on the preorder list at gear2play.com Placed my actual order last tuesday night and received my a7js friday afternoon. I was very impressed by eddies service. first rate! You'll have to ask him if he has any in stock.

BTW - the A8js is a great laptop. It is replacing a toshiba satellite 1800. Lot's of positives and only a few minor negative.

Um me too I ordered late though just paid today and wont get mine for a week.

I got the impression he didnt have more at the moment but Id check.

 

Thank you for remembering me. Didn't post allot, but I still read here from time to time, just too busy with settling down our new location and process the group buy works.

We have these notebooks on hand from early last week, only started shipping out today because we are waiting for the wireless routers to arrive, still not in today, we start shipping out without routers and will ship routers seperately at our cost.

We are still taking the group orders, but will stop soon.

A8Js will be hard to get if you don't pre-order, you can barely see dealsrs having spare units on hand, most of the new models will be in shortage, we ordered many units, but last week we only got 81 units(all models together) in US and Canada.

In Canada, we can almost allocate all our orders, we got better supply support in Canada, like last week shipment, AFAIK, other than one unit of A8J and 2 units of R1F, we got all the shipments from two Canadian distributors. In USA, obviously not this case, we are still too small

 

You are not saving one for me milestonepc correct?

Im sorry if not cancelling caused a problem i was on the preorder for milestonepc and i bought one from geared2play remove me if it helps someone else order.

Big news: the second group buy shipment will be arriving over the next couple weeks so for at least a little while, MilestonePC will definitely have stock in any model you need, especially the A8Js. Any orders that have not yet shipped will go out in the next two days.
