    Well After reading over at theinquirer.net that Dell have recalled 4 million!!! yes four million batteries made by Sony.

    Its started to get me thinking. Who makes Asus' batteries?

    i think Dell did it, in order to prevent more flaming Dell making the headlines....
    I don't think it's a big issue. Dell like Apple wants to keep their image and not rather have big law suits.
    My battery cells are made by Sony. Both 6 and 9 cells

    ha ha I just saw the article on the late night news here in the US, made me laugh, my gf had a Dell Latitude from that period and her battery started overheating very badly a few months ago....anyway it was her work laptop (she is a teacher) and she is not working there anymore, I wonder if it has exploded yet?
