I have found very little information about my laptop online, I don't know if its because a new release or a UK exclusive, does anyone own this laptop or know if its good in their opinion? I really like it, arrived today (replaced the Asus I bought recently for this one, was a little more expensive but I liked the finish more)

    Specs:
    Intel Core i3-370M @ 2.4 GHz
    Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD
    500GB Seagate ST9500325AS (SATA)
    4GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 532MHz
    15.6" HD screen

I fully understand Ghosthostile because I have been looking for information concerningt this very model for two weeks now as I am considering getting it for my wife.

The X and K series are identical as mentioned. Both Best Buy and hhgregg are half a mile apart from where I live and hhgrgg has the X series while BB carries the K. There is absolutely no difference between the models at all.

What do you like about your model and what, if any, cons do you experience?

I like the build quality of the machine, the textured palm rest, the only thing I don't like is how the plastic on the hinges can be pushed down with a finger, can yours do that?

Aside from that wonderful piece of kit, the plastic being pushed down isn't a real major flaw, just I'm a perfectionist.. it doesn't affect the stability or longevity of the machine though as it only acts as a cover for the metal hinges.
