Does anyone else have the problem where when they press the shift key and then immediately press a key after, the subsequent key is still affected by shift? For example if I press shift and another key in quick succession the second key will be capitalized even though I'm not holding down shift.
I was told to check the accessability options but there is nothing in there that is turned on, nor is there anything that pertains to this problem there. I'm about to lose my mind here.... if you guys could just test this out please let me know.
it's very simple, just quickly press shift and then any letter, if the letter is capitalized you have the same problem as I do, if it is lower case then I am going to take this laptop back and find out why the hell my keyboard is acting up...
thanks,
Aaron

OK I'm sending this laptop back and having them send me a new one. ****ed up sound card, ****ed up keyboard. I paid almost 3500 bucks Canadian for this thing. This is ridiculous...

Does it feel like there's any resistance on the key?

nope, no resistance. I called up my retailer and they told me that Asus would probably send me a new computer if they feel this one is defective. I really hope he's right. This keyboard does not feel right and the sound card error has now happened after my latest restore. Since these problems are not happening to anyone else I am assuming that my problems are due to a defective unit. I am trying to talk to Asus tech support but they don't work on the weekends....
I'm so frustratedI always have bad luck like this.
Why does my shift key have a delay? W2Vb problem....
