    ^^^^^^^^^^^

I mean it costs more for the V2S-A1, why? As far as I see the the F8SV-A1 actually has a better video card...

what's the diff, why is v2 priced more than the f8?

The V2 is a business class notebook, so it's made much better and has magesium alloy and caborn fibre composite build.

F8SV-A1 will still be a great, solid laptop if that's what you're wondering. Just not as good as V2
I'm also interested about what Asus will be using to build F8sv. Anyone?

    Just regular ABS Plastic.

The V2 has tons of options like docking, spill proof keyboard, extended battery, and...um, should be a few more things :p

Don't forget battery options since 9 cell is also available (separately :( ). As far as we know the F8 only has a 6 cell. Also there is the optional 3.5G Mobile Network Connection available though I doubt many people would get it.

The big difference is the attention to quality. The A and F series are Asus' "value" brands. Therefore, they offer nice parts but with a cheap chassis and not many other features. The V and W series are the "premium" brands, so even though they have essentially similar guts, you pay more for higher-quality materials on the outside as well as extra little things like a fingerprint reader, modular bay, etc.
