I was initially all excited about finding the Asus G50vt-A2 notebook. It seemed like this was the best 15” cost/performance notebook that I could find (especially with the 9800 gs gpu). After looking through this and other forums, it seems that many are giving this notebook very good reviews and recommendations.
Unfortunately, my excitement about this notebook was dashed when I found out that many were having key lag typing problems without the manufacturer being willing to fully address and solve this problem. Why on earth would people recommend this notebook if there is a good chance that you may get this unfixable problem? This seems (at least to me) to be a huge product defect. Am I missing something here?
This notebook really does seem to be the best 15” bang for buck notebook available but unfortunately it is unacceptable for me to purchase a product that has such a glaring defect. If not for this problem, I was ready to purchase it. Unfortunately, my search continues.

Well, the issue is not widespread as such and can be sorted by uninstalling the trackpad driver in most cases.
Than a side, this has very high price/performance ratio. -
Keyboard defect is not a huge issue for me.
I care more about performance, and with the 9800M GS at $999, it's definately worth it. -
Is it only during typing or also when running 3d applications?

it only happens mostly when your typing fast.
it wont affect your gaming or 3d apps
