Ok, I have the intel 4965agn card, works perfect while plugged in. I know all about messing with the power saving options and all that stuff. I also know that Zoid sent his card back and got a new one and it worked for him so we sort of decided it was the cards themselves that have the issue. (I will end up just buying a new one but first I wanted to ask around here cause i figured out a way to make it work)
After messing with this randomly I found a way to get mine to work on battery. If I go to device manager and disable the wifi card, then unplug the computer, then go back -enable the card, and then hit the fn+f2 to turn on the card, my internet works on battery. It wont work no matter what else I do. Only if I do that exact sequence. It just bothers me that the card works, but only if i go through some long arduous process. But since it does work that means that unplugging the ac does something to something which screws up the wifi. Can anyone think of a fix?
