I'm planning to purchase a laptop within the next 4 months and have my eyes set on the Asus Z70Va. With the duo notebooks coming out, are chances good that the price of the Z70Va will drop? I don't know if I should wait it out or just buy now!

If they do, it will not be as much as the last price drop.
The only thing is waiting for the Z70Va to come back in stock.

Asus sets the ensemble pricing and it all comes in stride... there isn't an abrupt price change - ever.... they usually only come with new configurations or new products. I've never seen something come down a couple hundred the day after someone just bought an item without something serious going on...... Asus' stock is so low right now that they plan on being sold out of these this week, with dealers hopefully not having anything past the end of the month and with that you're not looking at huge stockpiles to discount.......

Right, wasn't reffering to ASUS, but rather Intel.
Should have been more clear there...

    ASUS is very conservative. ;)

Obviously........ when the cost of the top end cpu comes down 35-40%, that's a huge drop if you were dumb enough to get that highend cpu......... but other than that.... those cpus won't drop a ton..... the dual-core models are going to have a premium for probably 1-2 quarters and that allows time for the current stuff to slowly disappear.
