If your laptop requires DDR3 it will work. Brand does not matter at all when it comes to RAM.

Yes it will, it will still get 1.5v rather than the 1.35v it was designed for but that should not matter.

    Ahh junk why is that?

Well adding this RAM will do no harm to my ASUS UX32VD correct? I have found on a few sites that this RAM is compatible with specific HP notebooks only, but I do not know if that is true or not.

I'm confused because it says it's "for HP" and the brand is Axiom.

If you are concerned, why don't you get a different brand of memory? And $90 for 8 GB is not a great deal.

    Good luck, Jim

    Hi Jim,

I never bought the RAM, I got the RAM for free in a raffle. That's why I'm asking online for help if it is compatible with my laptop.

Just compare the Axiom specs with the specs in the thread I referenced. The most crucial specs are voltage and latency, if they are the same, the Axiom memory should work. I think it is very unlikely that any damage could be caused by trying the memory. The most likely symptom would be that the memory wouldn't be recognized.
