    Hi there again!
Another question. When I'm not playing games I don't need this extra 6600 video performance for office work. If I underclock it even further will it save some power/decrease video card temperature? My video card cooler runs almost constantly and I presume drains a lot of power too.

    Thank you,
    Denys.

    Denys,

The 6600 is already underclocked quite a bit to save battery........ Basically what the powergear software will do for you is allow you to clock down the cpu and lower the brightness of the lcd so when you're doing office work you can clock the cpu to say 600mhz and thats where you're going to be saving the most power. If you're not stressing the graphics chip, it shouldn't really produce that much heat that it the fan needs to run all the time.

    Thanks,
    Justin
