I know Asus are planning on updating many of their notebooks to the new C2D processor. I was wondering if this also might include gpu uprades eg the Go 7700? and if some of the lower end lines such as the A6J or Z96J would be upgraded since im interested in a 15.4 sized laptop.

Mainly only notebooks from that price range since I live in Australia, and the fact is notebooks tend to be really expensive over here. I usually can only customise the notebook to how i want it on those ones (a6j etc) or i hit the end of my budget really fast. There seems to be a really big difference in price...and quality between notebooks like the V1j and those i previously mentioned :(

(if only i could have a v1j....mmmm looks so much nicer as well)

    Thanks :)
(sorry if this has been answered previously)

So far, only two models, the W2 and A8js whom have their specs upgraded in terms of GPU.

They don't often release much info, about barebones, such as the Z96, so the dealers will be first to release info I would assume.
