I tried to install the forceware display drivers directly from nvidia's site for xp64 but it says it cannot find the correct device for the driver.

I'm also trying to find 64bit intel PM965 drivers as well.

    Any help would be appreciated

I have an A8Sc notebook with the intel PM965 chipset, Geforce 8400m 128mb. I'm using Windows XP 64 on it now.

NVidia doesn't support most notebook video cards. You'll need to use modified drivers if you want the latest forceware driver, or you can just install the ASUS driver.

For a modded driver, go to:
    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista64

Download the 163.75 driver (it's much newer than the 165.01 driver) to your desktop, then run it to create a 16375_vista64 folder on the desktop.

Once the folder is made, right-click on the INF link to the right of 163.11 on the driver page, then save this INF file INSIDE the 16375_vista64 folder.

Once that is done, open up the 16375_vista64 folder and run the setup to install the driver.
