    Windows 7 Pro x64 and G50Vt-A1 help

    Hey guys im running windows 7 professional build 7600

    and ummm my only problems so far :

    my p4gxm spendid and the wireless hotkeys dont work

    i disable the touchpad, but u can still use the touchpad and i olredi Dl'd latest driver from synaptics website

    also wen i turn on/off wlan and bluetoth thru using the switch, that little animation doesnt pop up in the middle of the screen...

    would also note that my hcontrol.exe starts right away without the UAC prompt

    any help would be appreciated thanks!

    Sounds like your ATK drivers are not installed.

    my atk drivers are installed, as I am able to use the other hotkeys like the brightness, and the touch sensitive buttons on top, is just weird for me that only certain things dont work

    Use the updated program files from the Newer G51 series. Dont use the drivers for the G51 just the programs.

    i tried it, and for both splendid and p4gx their respective hotkeys wont shuffle thru the diferent profiles ut thanks for the suggestion though

    Actually it sounds like the ATKACPI Drivers probley are not installed. Those functions you mentioned are at hardware lvl. The other keys that control Direct Console, Splended video, Power 4 gear Extreem(and other versions) need ATKACPI Driver. As said before goto the asus support site down load all the files from the ATk link (should be 5 total) for your laptop (I chose to use the ones from the G51) install the ATKACPI Driver
    first then the others and you should be fine.
