Hey I installed windows 7 home premium 64-bit the other day and I got most of my drivers to work when I downloaded them from the asus support site. However I cannot get some of my keyboard fn (hotkeys) to work, the sleep work, the brightness works, but the others do not work. Such as the volume up/down/mute or touchpad, and the direct console button doesnt work either. The hotkey annimation doesnt even show up on the screen like how it did when I was using vista. (eg. when u press the hotkey for brightness up you will see the screen get brighter but you wont see the annimation showing on the screen)
Please help =/, I downloaded all the ATK drivers btw

Do a search for the ATK drivers on the Asus site on the support page.
There should be Win7 drivers for ATKDrv, ATKMedia, ATKOSD2 and ATK Hotkeys. Just do a search for "ATK".
You'll need the P4GX driver for the G50VT off the driver page for the G50TV. You can install the regular WiFi ultility for the WiFi, but I would also install the updated driver version off of Intel's site which only has the Win7 driver and not the utility part. There's no Win7 version from my searches.
There's a Direct Console 2.09 just do a search on the asus support page for just "direct" and select Win7 and you'll download this version. Follow instructions here:

You will also need to download the Synaptics driver off of http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers so you have the proper driver so you can properly turn on and off the trackpad with the hotkeys.
Mine's all working, only thing not working right now for me is the mail and Instant Messages in the DirectConsole screen which isn't a big deal for me since I have a G15 keyboard. But everything else displays right for the hotkeys showing the nice GUI it had when it was on vista when using the function keys. -
goggles is right can find it all in win 7 skus

Since i got those atik drivers for windows 7 the direct console doesnt want to launch anymore, i removed and reinstalled, same issue.

Your P4GX driver needs to be the one from the G50VT driver page for Vista64 as there isn't a Windows 7 version yet, or your DirectConsole will not show up under the system tray. I've had this problem when I tried to install the Win7 version of P4GX from I think the G51 drivers from where I got it from.
The rest of the ATK drivers should be fine under the Win7 drivers. The only thing under direct console that won't work from what I've tested is the mail and IM notifications. -
Have any of you thought about using LCDHype? I do believe that the updated utilities for the G51 will support your laptop. Just make sure to install ATKACPI Driver 1st.
