I just clean installed the 64bit windows 7 home premium upgrade. I activated it. When I tried to put my asus g50 driver disk in and install my drivers, It said I couldn't because the disc is only suitable for vista(my OS that came with the pc)

What do I do? Please help.

You probably need to go to Asus support site and download the Windows 7 drivers you want...........

hmmmm i don't know how many drivers I need........... :(

and On the site when they ask for what OS is your pc...it doesn't give you an option for Windows 7.....only visat 32bit, vista 64bit and Other OS

Other OS doesn't have as many downloads as vista32 bit and vista 64 bit....

If the drivers are not listed for Windows 7 specifically then you should let the windows update grab what it can. For drivers that do not update usually the recent drivers from the site for Vista and your Bit os will work. You may however need to get drivers from the manufacturer of a device, IE; nVidia video drivers, direct from the company making the device.........

If you look in Control Panel > System & Security > Device Manager and notice any yellow exclamation marks, then you are probably missing a driver. If there are no yellow exclamation marks, then you might have all the drivers you need.

Just install the drivers for vista 64bit separately, from the disk yourself.

You probably want to try install the ATK drivers/utilities from the Asus support download site that are listed for your model notebook.

You're able to do a "clean install" from a upgrade disc?
Did you boot from CD/DVD rom then just installed it?

Use the updated program files from the G51 page for win 7 on ASUS support site. Make sure to use the win 7 64 bit ones.

@DarthVader, iirc the ATK100 driver needs to come before any others. Thats how I had to do it on my G51 to get things working properly.
