I'm gauging if it's worth it to upgrade to Windows 8 on my UX32VD non-touch screen from Windows 7 Ultimate. How are people finding battery life? If you google around some people are actually getting worse battery life? Driver issues? Please share your recent experiences with Windows 8 on UX32VD.

Mine came with windows 8. Terrible problems with over heating and fan issues. Thinking about downgrading to 7.

Driver issues are a little more prevalent in Windows 8. If 7 is working for you, and you are thinking of upgrading simply for the sake of upgrading, then I would say it's not worth the cost nor time. Only do it if there is a viable purpose. :)
