I am thinking of buying an F3 series notebook (either one of F3E-A1 or F3SC-A1 or F3SC-A2) in Canada, and am thinking ahead to installing Windows XP on the notebook.
But the ASUS Canada support webpages only list Vista drivers for the above 3 models. Will Windows XP support all the HW on these notebooks without requiring any special drivers from ASUS?
Or will I be forced to stick with Vista on these models?
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks!

you can always "buy" a copy of xp and install on it..
there are many tutorials on the board which would tell you how
but other then that..no
i asked them if they would give me xp pro with my g1s, they said no..not even xp home..so yeah..lol -
I am mainly concerned about the bluetooth and the built-in webcam working properly on Windows XP.
I already have my own copy of Windows XP Pro and want to whether or not all the HW components on the F3 notebooks will be supported properly under Windows XP.

ClearSkies Well no, I'm still here..
I would strongly suggest checking Asus' website for XP drivers, before installation - a quick check looks like there are BT drivers, but the webcam driver is only in the F3E (not SC) model for XP. You might get lucky... others here have had success going that route mixing older XP drivers in current Vista models, but it still might not work; unless someone here can tell you their results in an F3, you may just have to take your chances.

Now I just have to figure out the exact differences b/w the F3SC-A1 and F3SC-A2 models...
Thanks. -
but i guess it wouldn't be a problem..
but like clearskies says..better check out to be sure
but even if all goes wrong..you can always do a fresh install right?
