    Hello
I tryed to install an upgrade from vista home premium to vista ultimate on my g1s. The install go well, all the things goes weel and It even asked me to set my user name and pass and my computer name.
BNut now when it reboot, It just load windows, and then there is a white screen with:
At the top: Can not boot C:\Recovery.dat.
And then in the middle of the screen, a big Error in red.

I checked on the net and there seem to be similar problem with this upgrade on asus laptop...
What should I do now? :(

I would recommend that you do a clean install of Vista Ultimate. Upgrades are always messy (regardless of the computer brand). I have Vista Ultimate on my computer, no trouble.

Do you have the upgrade version of Vista Ultimate or the full one ? If you have the full, format everything on your hard disk even the Home Premium Recovery Sector, which is unnecessary if you have Ultimate Full. You can do this via the Vista installation setup.
Why are you scared, if you have nothing on your hard disk you wont lose anything expect time ...
