I bought a new UX32VD these days. I installed Windows 8 on it. However, there were two devices didn't work properly. One is Bluetooth, it showed a exclamatory mark. Anohter is an unkown device. I tried to call Asus support and the answer was there was no drivers for Windows 8 at this moment.

Is there any body has experience with Windows 8 on UX32VD?

First, update to the latest BIOS (so that most of the Fn keys work). Second, you can install most of the Windows 7 drivers without a problem. That means card reader, VGA, Intel stuff. The only one I know to avoid is USB 3.0 (which is built into Windows 8). Also, avoid the bloatware utilities. You don't need any of them.

But if a driver is available in Windows Update, use that instead.

Interestingly, I think my bluetooth did not need extra drivers.

Oh, bios 212 fixes the fn key issue? I did not know that, thanks!
