Hi, I'm having a problem with my ASUS wireless console application. My shortcut for turning on/off Wireless and Bluetooth is Fn-F2 and it used to work but suddenly it stops working and pressing the two buttons has no effect.

The buttons are working individually though, what might be the problem here? I've tried reinstalling the driver but to no avail. The console can still be accessible from my taskbar icon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yeup, when I had my Intel wireless 2200b/g card that combo didn't work for me either, even though I did a fresh install and reinstalled the ATK100 drivers.

I guess you could try reinstalling the latest ATK100 drivers or try the latest Intel drivers for your wireless card if you do so have an Intel wireless card, but the last time I checked which was a month or so ago, the newest Intel wireless Proset software/drivers had problems with HControl.exe that is responsible for handling all these shortcut buttons, so people went back to the 9.xxxx series drivers for the Intel wireless cards.

Can you two tell me when this started happening?

Also duepeace, which notebook do you have, doesn't it have a dedicated button for wireless and not the FN+f2 function?

    Cheers,
    Mike

are any other function buttons working? like the controls for brightness or sound? a problem i had was if i used any of the quick launch or function commands before windows was completely booted (ie everything had finished loading) all function commands and quick launch buttons would stop working until i restarted. what i ended up doing was just waiting till windows completely booted up and then everything worked fine. dunno why it does it
