I have a F3a, thanks to your recommendation. I am more than pleased with its performance, so many thanks.
However, I did have a problem with the Wireless Console 2, it would automatically just come on as bluetooth so the net wouldn't automatically connect until I enabled wireless. Then the built in software would drop my connection.
I sorted this by removing the wireless console and the intel wireless software except for the driver. Now the LED no longer lights up to advise wireless is on. How can I fix this?
What is the software called for the Wireless Console if I need to re-install it?

It is called the wireless console in the support page for asus downloads. Try the one from the website it may be a later edition.

But why have I lost the LED, is it because I uninstalled the Console 2?

There is an old saying. If there are fallen trees after a storm most likely the wind took them down. I hope you get where i am going.

Of course! Can you post a link to wireless console? 2 hours and still no joy!

Have found it....woohoo!
Do you have wireless console still installed? -
I removed the Intel wireless bloatware, I like using the Windows configuration pages. Sure, you loose the wireless LED, but that's not really a big deal to me.
Wireless Console removed & Wirelsss LED not working!
