I've just done a fresh restore using the F9 method on my ASUS G2S. I run Vista Home Premium.

My problem is that the Wireless Console 2 icon in the tray has a red X on it, and Windows Mobility will not let me turn on wireless as it is greyed out. Also, the hotkey Fn + F2 does nothing. The Wireless LED is permanently off.

I tried to reinstall the ATK utilities and drivers but it is extremely confusing. If someone could give me instructions I would appreciate it.

Edit: I had to restore Vista again and it has shown my wireless finally. but I'm having software problems now. A tip for anyone who hasn't restored Vista from F9 is not to create exactly the same profile on the fresh Vista setup. It seems to create 2 users including your old one before restore. It even left AVG and FileZilla installed on my OS Drive.

If I can't fix the new issue I will reply again in this thread.
